The family received these tickets during the long construction on the Edens I-94 Expressway in the summer of 2008. Two drivers from the family were speeding when work crews were present, re-paving the surface of the highway.

The tickets carried a minimum $375 fine each, and if the driver were to be found guilty, could result in the suspension of driving privileges.
